Ayesa Digital awarded the Bequal PLUS60 Seal for its commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities

The company has been recognized for its efforts to promote equal opportunities and accessibility in the workplace.

Ayesa Digital, through its subsidiary Ayesa Ibermática, has been awarded the Bequal PLUS60 Seal, a distinction that recognizes organizations that are socially responsible in relation to disability across key areas such as strategy and leadership, talent management, and commitment to universal accessibility. The certification attests to a high level of commitment and implementation of inclusive policies.

The certificate was presented to Sergio Paniagua, Team Lead in the Talent Acquisition team and a key figure in diversity management at Ayesa Digital, by Azucena García, Managing Director at the Bequal Foundation. The event, held at Ayesa Digital’s headquarters, was also attended by members of the organization’s team, as well as Gema Rubia, Director of Corporate Development at the Bequal Foundation.

On behalf of Ayesa Digital, Sergio Paniagua stated: “In today’s society, we are seeing significant progress in terms of diversity inclusion. However, there is still much to be done. Companies and large corporations must take responsibility and lead by example in this area. Diversity in general—and functional diversity in particular—are areas that companies must actively promote as a source of enrichment.”

He also noted that “diversity adds value to services, enriches corporate culture, and fosters a collaborative work environment. Companies should aim to develop services, solutions, and/or products that help build a better society. To achieve this, it is essential to reshape their foundations and create diverse and inclusive workforces. The Bequal certification provides a roadmap that helps the company define an objective, an action plan, and a commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities in a normalized environment.”

For his part, Azucena García emphasized that “at the Bequal Foundation, we celebrate that Ayesa Digital has obtained this certification after successfully passing an independent audit, as it rigorously demonstrates its commitment to the real, cross-cutting, and sustainable inclusion of people with disabilities. For us, recognizing Ayesa Digital also means highlighting those organizations that place equal opportunities, non-discrimination, and accessibility at the core of their strategy and corporate culture.”

“With this recognition, Ayesa Digital represents a way of understanding social responsibility through concrete action and continuous improvement. Its commitment to disability—reflected in areas such as people management, accessibility, customer care, and social action—also sends an inspiring message to the business community: moving toward a more just, diverse, and inclusive society is possible when there is a genuine willingness to transform organizations from within,” he concluded.

The Bequal certification is an independent evaluation model that measures the degree of organizations’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and Disability. It assesses areas such as strategy, leadership, people management, regulatory compliance, universal accessibility, and inclusive policies across all internal processes.
